A Brief History of Our Temple

To spread the message of the ‘Hindu Dharma’ (Sanatana Dharma) in New Zealand through the principles of Hinduism as revealed in Hindu scriptures.

Festival Celebration

We intend to celebrate various festivals through out the year such as Diwali, Holi, Navratri, Ganesh Chaturthi, Krishna Janmashtami and many more to unite our community.

This temple is an upcoming project

We would like to offer a place for worship to every individual in New Zealand. This temple will be unique landmark for Hindus. We are looking for donations for this temple. Feel free to contribute any amount.


Fundraising

To achieve its objectives, starting with building a place of worship, the society intends to raise funds of at least $500,000.

Membership Drive


The society started its membership drive effective from 1st october 2019. We are requesting all people to become members and help us to generate required funds to make the temple project come alive soon.

Services

The society aims to provide various services to community such as various puja for different festivals, Yoga classes to promote healthy living society, various education programmes. Full details of our services will be followed soon.

Shiva

A goddess is stated to be the energy and creative power (Shakti) of each, with Parvati (Sati) the equal complementary partner of Shiva. He is one of the five equivalent deities in Panchayatana puja of the Smarta tradition of Hinduism.

Ganesha

Ganesha also known as Ganapati, Vinayaka, or by numerous other names, is one of the best-known and most worshipped deities in the Hindu pantheon.

Hanuman

Worshipped by many who wish to gain courage and strength in their lives, Lord Hanuman is probably one of the most celebrated and revered figures in the Hindu Mythology.
